This piece was inspired by the popular Bible verse, Proverbs 3:5-6. "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." -Proverbs 3:5-6
The imagery is of a leaning heart which fades out as it looks towards the path ahead. The heart fades to light, serene colors because it is finally trusting God for it's future.
Trusting God to take care of us is one of the most difficult things to do as a we face hardship or struggle in our lives. When we don't see solutions right in front of us, we begin to worry and try to fix things ourselves. Often this gets us in to trouble because we are viewing our circumstances with a human perspective and God has bigger and better plan for us. God promises that if we trust Him with our life's course when we can't see what's ahead, that He will make our paths straight...leading to blessings and joy.
