This image depicts the intense struggle mankind has with pride. Because pride is often portrayed by the posture of a puffed-up chest, I focused the greatest light on that area. This man is still in the process of releasing his pride to God as he looks up and faintly sees God’s healing light. This is why God hates pride. Since the beginning of time it has been the very poison that has severed man's relationship with Him. It is only when a man comes to the end of himself and surrenders his chains of pride to the Lord, that God can truly set him free.
