Thank God that He doesn't expect perfection from us the second we ask Jesus to come into hearts as Lord. On the contrary, God knows that our faith is a work in progress throughout our lives. That's why He gives us the Holy Spirit (the Counselor and Helper) to grow us fully into the person He has designed us to be – a "complete" person in Him! Thank God for His patience and love – and that He never leaves us or gives up on us!
