Description
The cross is a symbol of both pain and promise. On one hand, it represents the painful execution of the Lord Jesus on behalf of mankind's sin. But it also represents the powerful promise of the Lord's glorious resurrection and His authority over sin and death! With this in mind, I designed the shapes in the center of the cross to lilt and sway -- like the broken body of Christ during the crucifixion. However, on the outside of the cross, I placed shafts of linear light bursting forth through circular waves of glorious shouts of heavenly praise! "Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!" -- Revelation 5:12 ------------ "Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." -- Hebrews 12:2
