Description
"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland." –Isaiah 43:18-19
God is able to take the "parched ground" in our lives and saturate it with life-giving streams of new hope, provision, and fresh opportunities! Usually, after we finally give up trying to fix our troubling circumstances ourselves, we are willing to cry out to God for help. At times He tells us to "Hang on...I'm working on some things for you that aren't quite ready yet." – And other times He tells us to forget the former things that have happened to us which have led us down that dry, weary path we have found ourselves on. He says, I am the Author of life...and life to the fullest! "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." –John 10:10. So, be encouraged that your "dry spell" won't last forever. God has a plan, His timing is perfect, and He is working all things out for your good! You'll see....
