Artist's Description
This art was inspired by the song "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus" by Helen Lemmel.
In this inspiring piece the face's structure is created by the lyric: "Turn your eyes upon Jesus, Look full in His wonderful face". The outline of the sun's curvature reads: "And the things of earth will grow strangely dim". And finally, the sun imagery reads: "In the light of His glory and grace".
My desire in creating this piece is to remind us all to hope in the face of this life's adversity because God is our Advocate and He is greater still.
