Description
When I created "Facets of Grace", I chose to depict the most iconic symbol of grace -- the cross. The cross is a picture of God's grace, in that God allowed His only Son, Jesus, to be crucified for the forgiveness of sins. -- When Jesus died on the cross, He became the manifestation of Grace in its purest form.-- Exemplifying the very nature of God, He reached out to offer redemption to a cursed and dying world.
Grace is not only the gift of salvation through Christ, but is, in my understanding, the ever-active and ever-present power of God; in, through, and around those who have given their lives to Jesus.
-- GRACE is the alluring power of God's love that relentlessly beckons and pursues each one of us to come and follow Him.
-- GRACE is the supernatural mystery of the Holy Spirit's ability to live in a human heart.
-- GRACE is the manifestation of God's love as it miraculously transforms broken, hopeless and hurting people.
I believe that Grace, in a nutshell, is the multi-faceted expression of God's love in our lives through Jesus Christ.

"Because of His love, God had already decided to make us His own children through Jesus Christ. That was what He wanted and what pleased Him, and it brings praise to God because of His wonderful grace. God gave that grace to us freely, in Christ, the One He loves. In Christ we are set free by the blood of His death, and so we have forgiveness of sins. How rich is God's grace, which He has given to us so fully and freely." -- Ephesians 1:5-8 (NCV)
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith -- and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God -- not by works, so that no one can boast." -- Ephesians 2:8-9 (NIV)
"I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will empower you with inner strength through His Spirit. Then Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in Him. Your roots will grow down into God's love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God." -- Ephesians 3:16-19 (NLT)
