This is my first blog ever! I figured I'd start off showing my latest piece.
I have always been fascinated with the graphic nature of tree branches in the winter time. I have been photographing them all winter here in Arizona — well, if you can call 60-70% high as “winter weather”! Ha! At dusk the shapes become flat and somewhat haunting. This imagery seemed fitting to use as the visual for this piece I called "Fear Not".
We all encounter times when we are afraid to walk courageously into the dark, unknown places in our lives. We seem to fixate on the unpredictable experiences which lie on the other side of that darkness. God, on the other hand already sees what is on the other side and tells us to walk boldly into the dark places because HE will be with us every step of the way! “So, do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” -Isaiah 41:10
"And...", as Forrest Gump says, " that's all I have to say about that." Thanks for reading. I would love to hear how you react to this piece or any other on my website. I want to hear the good, the bad and the ugly. It makes me a better designer!
